Wyre Forest Company of Archers was founded in 1981, based in Stourport-on-Severn. It overlooks the river Severn, the Wyre Forest and the Severn Valley Railway. Our club is affiliated to Archery GB, County of Worcestershire Archery Association and West Midlands Archery Society.
We are a friendly target archery club whose aim is to cater for all ages and abilities from beginners to semi-pro. Our members shoot a range of bow styles, ranging from high-tech Compound bows to traditional Longbows. We also have regular weekly indoor and outdoor shooting sessions.
The club welcomes new members and holds regular beginner’s courses for those interested in taking up the sport. Annually, a number of tournaments are hosted by WFCA, details of which can be found on our Tournaments page.
